Hello so this week has been a busy one! It was my dad's birthday on the 24th and my birthday on the 26th. I turned 18 yay! On the 25th between our birthdays we decided to go for a meal at a local Italian. This is what I wore:

Primark necklace and rings

My hands make my figure look very strange in this photo but I like to show the details I add to an outfit! I was so lucky this year with my birthday, I had such a great time for my birthday and if you would be interested in a birthday haul please let me know and I will do one!

Thanks for reading and I will see you again very soon!

Procrastinating Blogger Tag

Hello, I was going through one of my favourite blogs written by Lizzie. Her blog is advertised on the left hand side so please check out her blog! And she tagged anyone reading to do this tag so I thought I would give it a go!
So lets go on..

Q1. Name a beauty regime you rarely do
A1. I rarely moisturise! Which I know is bad for my skin but I always forget after my shower and I still havent found a good body moisturiser so if you can recommend one please comment below, I would appreciate it!

Q2.  Do you wash your make-up brushes regularly?
A2. I only wash my foundation brush. I don't have proper brushes yet mine are ebay ones and im always flipping between two sets so I don't wash them often. I'm hoping to invest in some Zoeva brushes when I can, eek!

Q3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
A3. I can't go very long unless I am wearing a nude colour! As soon as I notice a chip I re-do the nail or just paint my nails a different colour!

Q4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?
A4. I struggle with this because I don't earn much money at the minute and so I don't have the funds to spend on make-up right now ALTHOUGH it is my birthday next week! So I may be making a few new purchases to replace my old ones, finally!!

Q5. What's your worst beauty habit?
A5. Ooh, probably wearing about 5 mascaras daily, oops. I just love fuller lashes!

Q6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off all the time
A6. I always put off tidying my room, im so bad at it, its just so inconvenient sometimes, most of the time

Q7. When going out, do you leave getting ready until the last minute?
A7. No, I am ready like half an hour early, unless its somewhere I don't want to go like the dentist or something similar, haha

Q8. Can you commit to spending bans?
A8. Well considering I haven't bought anything for over year (fashion and beauty wise) I would say, yes

Q9. How organised are your make-up and nail polish collections?
A9. Actually quite organised, for my make-up I have a drawer with washed ice cream tubs holding each section (I dont quite have enough to fill multiple drawers yet haha) and my nail polishes are in a little carry box

I hope you enjoyed finding out a little more about me and I also tag any of you that fancy doing this tag!

Future Investments

Hello, today I wanted to tell you about all the things that I am swooning over at the minute and that I'm looking forward to buying in the future. I don't have an income at the minute because the babysitting I do I'm using to save for photography equipment but I am looking for a job in sales at the moment, so I'm hoping if I get a job I can use more money from there to begin spending again! It's also coming up to my 18th birthday! So we will see. Anyway, lets do this.

First up is this beautiful playsuit from Dolly Rocka Fashion who you can find at their website here. The right hand image is off their instagram which is @dollyrockafashion. The girl in the image is a fellow blogger and she has such amazing style, she's called Kristin and you can find her blog here and her instagram is @krierd. You find the playsuit if you search 'Paris Playsuit' in their search bar. I love so many other items from this brand and they are definitely a brand worth checking out!

Next is these totally adorable cases that are hand made and personalised. They are by a girl called Georgia and her brand name is 'Geo's Cartoons'. I have to say Georgia is so so talented and the products look absolutely stunning! I'm so glad I discovered her brand. She lets you send her your name and objects you'd like included on the case and this is all for £15!! Her website is here and the businesses instagram is @geoscartoons. She does all iPhones and iPods and I cannot wait to save up for one!

Next is these shoes from the brand Public Desire. I'm totally in love with these two and also so many more shoes that they do!Literally such a beautiful brand, I would highly recommend checking them out at their website here or on instagram @publicdesire. The black shoes are the Frances Black Strappy Platform Sandals and the white ones are the Kaycie White Platform Heel Sandals.

Finally is this choker from a brand called DaintyDayDream. The shop is run by a girl called Ellie and you can find her etsy shop here. She does so many other lovely pieces but I love this flower choker, it looks a lot like one of my favourite flowers. So I am loving it.

I have not been sponsored or asked to feature these items they are all of my own finding and are just things I'm really loving and I just found a new way of expressing that to you.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and that you love the brands I mentioned as much as I do.
Thanks for reading

Dealing With Frizzy/Curly Hair

Oh curly hair where do I start.

I've been battling my curly hair for years. Product after product to battle it and I do still struggle. My hair is much much softer than it used to be to the touch but not by the way it looks, the frizz in my hair is very prevalent.

To make my hair soft I used the Lee Stafford products I reviewed in one of my recent posts and I also thickened it using the L'Oreal product in my first post. Obviously not at the same time but the effects have seemed to remain permanent from the thickening shampoo I used. However I'm not saying this will be the same for everyone and I wouldn't want to be faulted if the same thing didn't happen to you.

A product I had a bad time with is the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy. This may work for other people but for me it's had no affect after three weeks of regular use. I wouldn't recommend it after my experience.

Products I am excited to try include the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Go Curlier Heat-Activated Spray and The Sleek Restorer products by Garnier . If you have reviewed these products please leave me the blog post so I can see or if you own them and have an opinion please leave it in the comments!Thankyou!

I hope this post has helped anyone with curly and frizzy hair suffering the same way as me!
Love to all

My Summer Playlist

Hellooo, so today I'm going for a bit of something different, more lifestyle related and I'm going to show you my summer playlist on Spotify. These aren't just new tracks there's some old time classics in there!I didn't pick too many as I'd be here for ages I just picked out a few handfuls.

These aren't my all time favourite songs but they're definitely most of the songs that get me into the mood for the summer!I know there's many more and that not everyone's music taste is the same but I am sharing mine with you.

I feel summery just looking at the track list!
Let me know in the comments if you like this kind of lifestyle/recommendations post!I love hearing your feedback.

Follow me on Spotify for more of the music I love and indulge in here!

How I Style A Black Skater Skirt For Summer

Hellooo!
So I've been thinking about how difficult it can sometimes be to put outfits together so I thought I would start doing these kind of 'how i style' posts. I love reading them on other peoples blogs and so I just thought I would make my own. Today I decided to do it on a plain black skater skirt from Miss Selfridge however I don't think they sell it anymore, which is a bummer, but you can find plain black skater skirts in most stores at the moment. This one from ASOS is very similar to mine.

Anyway on we go!

First of all I styled it with a black and white swing vest from Primark. Hopefully they still sell this but due to them not being online I can't find out. Here's a similar one. I liked this look, so simple and comfortable. I tucked the vest in cause I think it fits my figure better to do so but you can leave it untucked if you prefer.

Next I paired it with a simple crochet top from Primark, they should still sell this. If not again here's something similar. I actually really love this, I adore crochet and to be honest I wanted to keep wearing this outfit. I love when you make new discoveries of things that go well together!

I then paired the skirt with a plain white crop top from Boohoo. They do still have this in stock, yay!haha, I liked this all though I did feel as if I had a lot of skin on show which is what led me to my final style

A kimono! I love a good kimono! This is also from Boohoo which again I don't think they still sell (I am not doing well am I! Think this makes an excuse for a shopping trip soon!). Here's a different one by Boohoo that is the same styling and fit. Excuse the second picture but these are the only two photos I took in this (that weren't blurry) and I think it shows the pattern on the kimono well!Hahaha!I also just wanted to show you that all though I do take this seriously, I also have a lot of fun doing it!My sister is most often my photographer and well, this is what happens when she doesn't stop pressing the camera button at me!

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did making it! And that it gives you some inspiration for your skater skirt!
See you soon,
lotsa love
