Winning with BeautyBay.com

In December I entered a competition held by a very well known online store that I'm sure you've all heard of Beauty Bay! They did a twelve days of christmas competition and on one day there was a full OPI hamper up for grabs. I am nail varnish obsessed and so entered and pretty much just wished on a star I'd win as we all do. Low and behold I did so and I was SO. EXCITED.

This post isn't just about the products I reciieved however because I just want to say how highly I recommend this company. They kept me so informed every day with what was happening with my prize and although they were busy and this delayed shipping they kept me fully aware which meant I didn't really mind at all.

Anyyyway. Here are the GORGEOUS nail varnishes I recieved from them. I felt so lucky!

I am going to do a full review on the nail polishes in a seperate pist and swatch them and name all the colours for you so look out for that round the end of February!!

Again thank you to Beauty Bay for my prize and stay tuned to see more of these gorgeous polishes. Are you excited? Let me know in the comments.

Lamoda: My Staple Purse

I have always seen so many people post about Lamoda. They sell so many beautiful things and I have been hunting around for a black purse with silver detailing for SO LONG as so many do them with gold instead.

I was so happy when i came across this croc print one from Lamoda. It's my new favourite thing and the quality is so good that I feel like i'm going to have it for a long time to come.

The lovely girls there also sent me the cutest little pictures in my parcel too!

I would highly recommend ordering from Lamoda! Such a lovely company and I will definitely be going back to them.

Makeup Revolution: The ULTRA Professional Eyeshadow Flawless Palette

This palette was given to me for Christmas last year. I am always up for trying new eyeshadow palettes because they are my favourite product to play with.

This didn't disappoint me at all when I tried it.

There's such a range of gorgeous colours. In the photos it obviously has been used but at least it shows I'm really talking from using the palette.

It includes a some neutrals which are perfect for transitioning or a natural look. Some maroons that really can make you eyes pop and then a khaki green to. Theres also a gorgeous set of blacks, one has blue flecks running through which I think is really unique.

I'm going to include some photos of some looks I've created below for you to see rather than swatches and then you can see how well they work on the eyes.

This look includes paper as the base, almost there as the crease, cheerless to deepen the crease, cafe noir on the outer v and red night for the centre color.

This look is paper for base, almost there for the crease and outer v and then lowlite for my centre.

This is just a plain centre eye just using paper and almost there again and the highlite in the inner corner. Look how gorgeous that is. The contrast has been adjusted a bit, but its not far off the true colour for it. I was playing with VSCO cam hence why theres such a dark effect on but I just think it shows the colour amazing and wanted to share.

Here was another attempt i took to take a photo, I dont like it at all but atleast it shows you the shade names.

What are your favourite palettes? I'd love to try more. Let me know in the comments which was your favourite look too!

The Best Brushes Under £15

I have tried so many brushes in my time. Trying to find some under £15 that actually are any good is pretty tricky. As much as I lust after high end brushes my bank just does not agree. This week I bought some from Amazon that literally match my dreams.

These brushes are so dense whilst still being soft on the top. I'm mostly obsessed with the eye ones, you can never have to many for all the different colours in your colection to create the best eye look without ending up with all your colours crossing across your lid and not achieveing the look you had imagined.

I also find the brushes so aesthetically pleasing. They remind me of the Morphe or MAC brushes. Silver hardware is my thing.

If you're on the look out for some amazing brushes that don't break the bank click here.

I have so many posts planned at the moment! Should I post twice a week or save them and stick at once?

Back to Blogging: The Perfect Pale Contour

I've missed my blog.

Sometimes it can be so hard to feel inspired when there are so many people doing the same thing you are. But i love my blog it's my little place on the internet to just write exactly what i want, no matter how many people read it. Thank you to everyone that has continued to follow me despite my absence. True dedication.

The other day I ordered the NYX Blush in Taupe as I'd heard several paler you tubers use it for contouring and I found that intriguing being extremely pale myself so, I treated myself and took the plunge.

I tried it out today with my Real Techniques Contour Brush and it turned out incredibly.

What do you all think? How did I do for my first go?

You can find the NYX Blush to the uk here
