New Years Party Style

New Years Party Style
I love this look and this dress! I am staying in alone for New Years but if I was going out, I could still only dream of wearing a dress as gorgeous as this one. Sequins are so in right now and I love them they add a flare to every outfit, especially an evening gown.

Ciaté Mini Mani Month

I was insanely excited when I found this bargain in TK Maxx at the start of this month. I always have chocolate advent calendars to countdown to Christmas but this year after seeing the different ones 'Zoella' had last year, I wanted to try one for myself. However most of them are completley out of my budget but then I was in TK Maxx and came across this beauty for only £25 down from £50 odd, I didnt even hesitate and bought it. I wanted to share with you the beautiful colours I got out of it, usually it costs £25 for 3 large bottles and I have got 24 mini ones for the same price.

This is how the box looks, I love the festive print they chose.

These are the 24 colours that I got, I think they are of a good size and I like having more colours to try in small bottles than just having large bottles of a few selected colours. I adoreeeee all of the colours I got from this calendar!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and it inspires you to try some different advent calendars next year! If you are interested in any of the colours, I would be happy to give you the shade name.

Thanks for reading!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Tag

I love Christmas jumpers, I have two Boohoo ones of my own that I purchased this year and the ones they bring out are possibly my favourites each year. I love this filthy animal one, Home Alone is such a good Christmas film to get you in the festive mood, if you've never seen it, do it, now. The whole outfit I've picked is definitley a dream because I really don't suit ripped knee jeans, well I tried one pair and got put off so maybe I should try another but who knows. The shoes are very daring for me although I absolutely adore the way they look, I wish I could just dare to buy and wear a pair myself. This jumper is a kind of pretty ugly and I love it. If you like styling all things ugly Christmas jumper enter the contest now on Polyvore and be sure to comment your entries so I can see them too, lets share our festivity. The contest ends tomorrow so hurry!

Holiday Style Inspiration

I love doing these posts now, I never realised I could connect my blog to my polyvore, oops. I love these holiday style staples! I own the cape and it's literally my favourite thing its so warm. The boots are very similar to ones I want but I couldn't find them. The givenchy bag, daniel wellington watch and MAC lipstick have been on my christmas wish list for a few years now but they're way out of my families budget and more than what I would want to ask them for. They're also abit out of the budget of 'a seasonal treat to myself' too!Haha!
Let me know how you're styling up your holiday, I think I will do another holidays one but more for parties as it's that time of year. I hope you're enjoying these posts as much as I am making them.

My Favourite Candles

I have been buying so many candles recently, it is the season after all! Because of this I thought I would share with you my favourites.

Yankee Candle- This is the 'Christmas Eve' candle and it smells so nice, it's not floral at all like the scents I would usually go for its got quite that heavy christmas smell, if that makes sense. It's quite spicy but not overly it's just a hint. I am not the best at describing scents!!!

Primark Candle- I bought this for what I seem to remember was about £5, I just couldn't resist and it smelt sooo good. All of their candles did but I went for the purple to match my room, sad. This candle actually surprised me at how smelly it is like I wasn't expecting anything great but you can get good wiffs even when it's burning.

Zoella Candle- Oh, I'm mentioning Zoe again, oops. ;-) I love this candle it's so girly and floral, it burns so well. Mine actually burns with the biggest flame I have ever seen on a candle.

Leaf, Bark and Berries Candle- This is the shop I work in where I live. There are three stores in the UK that I know of and it can't be accessed on the internet but if you ever pass any one of the shops, I highly reccommend this candle. We sell it in our christmas range and it is appropriately scented 'Roasted Chestnut' and this literally is the definition of christmas in a scent for me. It burns so well and has so much burning time to it. It smells delicious when burning as well as when it's blown out.
I also bought these two candle holders from here and I think they're lovely! The red candle is my yankee candle, I kind of melted it to it whoops.

I hope you enjoyed this post it's a bit different and more seasonal! Hopefully you can try some of the candles I recommended and let me know how you find them?

Short Catchup

I just wanted to quickly let you all know why I haven't been posting and it's because my schedule has blown up! I used to spend nearly everyday doing nothing and now I don't have a day off.

I now work four days a week and also go to college four days a week (I do both on mondays) and so I literally haven't got a day free. I wanted to let my schedule set in first and get used to it before I started planning things around it but I'm commited to making more effort to posting on my blog now because I really do love doing it.

I get a week off of work soon and so hopefully I should be able to use the weekend to get some draft posts sorted and then I can post them weekly. I'm super excited to be able to be blogging again cause I've missed it and it's just annoying that I wake up in the dark and by the time I'm home its dark again. Damn winter.

I hope you're all well and if you have any post ideas or feedback please let me know in the comments.

Beauty Haul

I purchased all these items at Superdrug.

Micellar Water- a lot of people have done reviews on this product so it's not something I feel I need to do. However I bought my own recently after reading all the positive reviews it has and I was blown away. My skin has NEVER been this clear, I can't even remember the last time I had a spot and all I do is use this product every night to take all my make-up off and then use the St. Ives invigorating apricot scrub once or twice a week.

Soap&Glory Mist You Madly- I had this once many years ago when the brand wasn't as poplar as it is now and I loved it however never really remembered to repurchase it but as I've been buying christmas presents lately I've been scowering Superdrug for presents and I saw this and instantly added it to my basket. It's probably one of my favourite scents, it's very floral and feminine. If you get the chance you should definitley buy it, it's such a good thing just to carry round in your bag and use to freshen up.

Zoella Blissful Mistful- After my post about Zoe's make-up line I had to get something. I ended up buying the candle and the body mist. This smells amazing, I had high hopes for these products but when it arrived it just blew them out the water. I applaud Zoe and this is now in my top 3 fragrances.

Rimmel London Mascara with Argan Oil- This product is brilliant. I am so glad I got it. Mine has slightly different packaging to the usual one because I bought it in the extra black shade and I'm glad I did. I use this everyday now it keeps all my lashes seperated and full. I've gone from using 5 mascaras a day (pain in the butt) to now using two. I have also noticed a slight difference in the health of my lashes since using this. They don't fall out as much and just feel a lot nicer when I'm not wearing any make-up.

Sleek i-Divine Au Naturel Palette- I have wanted a sleek eye-shadow palette for   so    long. These colour are gorgeous, I love all the earthy and brown colours cause I feel like they suit my eyes, I have blue eyes. I know everyone wouldn't agree with that colour choice but that's how I think they look best. I haven't actually used this palette yet because look at it. I will get round to using it obviously. Would you like to see a more extensive review on this product?I could swatch the colours too! Let me know in the comments or however you wish to contact me.

Pumpkin Carving!

Me and my sister watched Zoe and Gabby's video here where they carved their pumpkins and it's something we NEVER did as kids and wanted to try and so we forced our parents to buy us one each and they came back with some of the biggest I have ever seen!

We didn't have any pumpkin carving stuff so it was back to knives and spoons haha! It ended up everywhere not going to lie. The other problem we had was that the power kept going out and was off for atleast half and hour at one point and let me say, knives and candles don't work well together but despite all that I think we did pretty darn good for our first attempt.

This one is mine. I was pretty happy with him! He's now in the kitchen and my sister has hers in her window at the front of the house.

Did you watch Zoe and Gabbys video?
Have you carved any pumpkins? If you have link your photos below, I'd love to see!

October Style Crushes

CHERYL COLE

Cheryl looked amazing last night on the X-Factor and I wish I could just steal her whole outfit. She is so blessed with her looks and if I could look like one person in the world it would definitley be her. Her hair and make up was also on point and I just wish my hair would grow. Cheryl has been one of my biggest inspirations since I was 8.
I think her dress maybe way out of my price range, I have a feeling.

Pictures found here.

ELLA PUMFORD
Images here- instagram

Ella is stunning and I have always looked up to not only her style but her instagram, it is flawless. She is probably one of my biggest style icons. I love her colour palette and the classy style she has.

I only have two for this month, witch is totally boring but I am just discovering my own fashion style at the moment and these girls are the only ones who's style I have really been loving and have been inspiring me.

However on a positive note I have a new ASOS/Boohoo haul coming for you next week!
I may do it as a look book on youtube, what do you think?

Ootn // Berts Pizzeria

This week my family have had my sisters French Exchange to visit called Elise. She came last year too and is super sweet and so we decided to go for a family meal to a sort of new restaurant not to far from us.

I thought I would blog my outfit as it is one of my favourites and contains a lot of new items I have been buying recently although I have to apologise for the photo quality my focus was on manual and so when other people used it they didn't quite focus it. Hope you guys can deal with this one.

My outfit detail are

Topshop Moto Prince of Wales Joni Jeans
New look cardigan
Primark plain black top
New look sandals mentioned in previous posts here

I was also quite proud of my make-up tonight too. I mentioned the mascara and eye shadow palette in this post here.

Here are some other photos from tonight

I had my first legal drink out from when I turned 18, 3 months ago, hahah!

This lasagne was great

If you live in East Yorkshire, you should try this place!
