Winning with BeautyBay.com

In December I entered a competition held by a very well known online store that I'm sure you've all heard of Beauty Bay! They did a twelve days of christmas competition and on one day there was a full OPI hamper up for grabs. I am nail varnish obsessed and so entered and pretty much just wished on a star I'd win as we all do. Low and behold I did so and I was SO. EXCITED.

This post isn't just about the products I reciieved however because I just want to say how highly I recommend this company. They kept me so informed every day with what was happening with my prize and although they were busy and this delayed shipping they kept me fully aware which meant I didn't really mind at all.

Anyyyway. Here are the GORGEOUS nail varnishes I recieved from them. I felt so lucky!

I am going to do a full review on the nail polishes in a seperate pist and swatch them and name all the colours for you so look out for that round the end of February!!

Again thank you to Beauty Bay for my prize and stay tuned to see more of these gorgeous polishes. Are you excited? Let me know in the comments.

Lamoda: My Staple Purse

I have always seen so many people post about Lamoda. They sell so many beautiful things and I have been hunting around for a black purse with silver detailing for SO LONG as so many do them with gold instead.

I was so happy when i came across this croc print one from Lamoda. It's my new favourite thing and the quality is so good that I feel like i'm going to have it for a long time to come.

The lovely girls there also sent me the cutest little pictures in my parcel too!

I would highly recommend ordering from Lamoda! Such a lovely company and I will definitely be going back to them.

Makeup Revolution: The ULTRA Professional Eyeshadow Flawless Palette

This palette was given to me for Christmas last year. I am always up for trying new eyeshadow palettes because they are my favourite product to play with.

This didn't disappoint me at all when I tried it.

There's such a range of gorgeous colours. In the photos it obviously has been used but at least it shows I'm really talking from using the palette.

It includes a some neutrals which are perfect for transitioning or a natural look. Some maroons that really can make you eyes pop and then a khaki green to. Theres also a gorgeous set of blacks, one has blue flecks running through which I think is really unique.

I'm going to include some photos of some looks I've created below for you to see rather than swatches and then you can see how well they work on the eyes.

This look includes paper as the base, almost there as the crease, cheerless to deepen the crease, cafe noir on the outer v and red night for the centre color.

This look is paper for base, almost there for the crease and outer v and then lowlite for my centre.

This is just a plain centre eye just using paper and almost there again and the highlite in the inner corner. Look how gorgeous that is. The contrast has been adjusted a bit, but its not far off the true colour for it. I was playing with VSCO cam hence why theres such a dark effect on but I just think it shows the colour amazing and wanted to share.

Here was another attempt i took to take a photo, I dont like it at all but atleast it shows you the shade names.

What are your favourite palettes? I'd love to try more. Let me know in the comments which was your favourite look too!

The Best Brushes Under £15

I have tried so many brushes in my time. Trying to find some under £15 that actually are any good is pretty tricky. As much as I lust after high end brushes my bank just does not agree. This week I bought some from Amazon that literally match my dreams.

These brushes are so dense whilst still being soft on the top. I'm mostly obsessed with the eye ones, you can never have to many for all the different colours in your colection to create the best eye look without ending up with all your colours crossing across your lid and not achieveing the look you had imagined.

I also find the brushes so aesthetically pleasing. They remind me of the Morphe or MAC brushes. Silver hardware is my thing.

If you're on the look out for some amazing brushes that don't break the bank click here.

I have so many posts planned at the moment! Should I post twice a week or save them and stick at once?

Back to Blogging: The Perfect Pale Contour

I've missed my blog.

Sometimes it can be so hard to feel inspired when there are so many people doing the same thing you are. But i love my blog it's my little place on the internet to just write exactly what i want, no matter how many people read it. Thank you to everyone that has continued to follow me despite my absence. True dedication.

The other day I ordered the NYX Blush in Taupe as I'd heard several paler you tubers use it for contouring and I found that intriguing being extremely pale myself so, I treated myself and took the plunge.

I tried it out today with my Real Techniques Contour Brush and it turned out incredibly.

What do you all think? How did I do for my first go?

You can find the NYX Blush to the uk here

My Weekend Style

My Weekend Style

My Weekend Style by hadamadday featuring Valentino shoes and a YSL leather handbag.

There is not a lot more I love than styling jeans with a classic pair of staple heels. I think it is such a classic look, especially for a weekend as it can go from day to night! Scarves play a massive part in my wardrobe and I love using accessories to make a plain outfit that little bit more special.

I hope you like this outfit I styled and that it gives you all a little inspiration for this Monday evening!

Current HUGE Wishlist // ft. PLT, Boohoo and ASOS

It is getting closer and closer to pay day for me and this means ALOT more online 'window' shopping. I'm always at it but when I know I am about to get paid, it gets worse. Unhealthy some may say.
I have been loving some of the styles coming in recently, not everything is to my taste but I like to pick and choose to fit my refined wardrobe.
Fashion is one of my favourite things and I am so determined to start regularly posting outfits, thats my vision for my blog but it is going to take some work and equipment first.

Right lets dive in.

Pretty Little Thing

I love PLT. Their newest collections are stunning. High necks are my favourite thing, of any kind as you can tell, I find them so simplistic and feel they suit me most. I think the shirt dress would look amazing belted with some strappy heels or plain sandals for a dressed down option. Split side tshirts are one of my biggest obsessions, I think they look great, I think with longer ones they would look so good with a mini skirt under but these shorted ones look great with a pair of ripped jeans.

Boohoo

I didn't feature as many things from Boohoo because well we all have a budget, but I love these two pieces I couldn't NOT feature them. I think they would look amazing together. What I love most about this skirt is that it is very versatile and I feel you could wear it from night to day with just a shoe change.

ASOS

I think I spend half my time on ASOS they have such a hugeeee collection of things for sale. My wishlist literally has over 200 things in. I love it for both beauty and fashion.
I think that a denim jacket is one of the biggest staple pieces for summer and they literally never go out of style and I love that about them. Skater dresses are the best fit of dress in my opinion for the day so flattering on my body shape and so simple. Those strappy heels are the strappy heels of my dreams, however if anyone knows here I can find the black strappy ones ASOS have paired with the leggings I would loveeee to know!!!

Sammy Dress

I have seen quite a few people purchase from this store. I know the postage is long but I love it when you forget you have a parcel coming and then it turns up and your like omg! goodies. Anyway, this is where I actually go summery. All the things before have pretty much been monochrome and nude but I love the rompers and little dresses they do, I love all the Australian like outlets that sell these cute patterned summer pieces. I am so excited to buy some of these, the patterns are perfect and the price tag isn't half bad either!

I hope you all liked this post and it gave you a little dose of inspiration on this lovely Sunday evening. Enjoy your weeks.

Sometimes when I go to college I'm like yes, I'm going to make effort today and sometimes I'm just like honestly I just want to wear leggings and try sleep when no ones looking. I am sure a lottttt of people can relate to that haha. We only seem to get chance to take photo's when I'm not dressed nice and plus I have just had a MASSIVE wardrobe clear out and well now I don't know how I find anything to wear most days. Any way I just thought I'd share this cute little 'dress down' outfit with you especially because the back drop is just lovely!
